We’re very proud to announce that Rachel has been nominated for a 2016 Butterfly Award. These awards are to recognise the work carried out in highlighting the important issues surrounding baby and infant loss.
The whole team would like to wish her luck at the awards in October and we will keep you posted!
Our Christmas Memorial Service was very well attended again this year, we welcomed over 400 people to remember their loved ones at this difficult time of year for many. A poignant service was taken by Rev Ron Percival. Oakwood Primary School choir sang for us beautifully during the balloon release, as a stunning rainbow appeared above us all.
Our families generously donated £450 to Alzheimers Research UK.

This is an annual service held at Knox, to mark what will sadly be their first christmas without their loved one. All of our families from the past year were invited and over 320 attended the service, officiated by Rev Ron Percival and Knox Managing Director Elizabeth Greenwood.
Families were invited to write a personal tribute which were then hung on the christmas tree, followed by a carol service. Refreshments were then served by Liz and her team. Donations received on the day of over £325 will be split between Macmillan Nurses and Diabetes UK, we thank all that attended for their genorosity.
The gallery below shows photos from our Christmas Memorial Service held in December last year. A local minister conducted a beautiful service in memory of everyone who’s last journey was from these premises. Hot chocolate, tea, coffee and mince pies were available and a personalised memorial was made available for each family to place on our Christmas tree.
Our Links With the Community – On August 4 2012 we held a Charity Cabaret Night in aid of Ciaran’s Cause & Warrington Neo Natal Unit. A wonderful evening of entertainment, singing, dancing, bingo & a raffle, raising £1700 split between the two charities.
Rachel & Liz did the Starlight Walk for St Rocco’s Hospice raising £100.
